Recognized player in the preparation for health exams, Medisup has around thirty service vehicles located in almost all French university cities. Over the past two years, the group has initiated a transition to electric vehicles, starting with a first wave of 100% electric vehicles, adopted on a voluntary basis.
A project carried out locally
An internal dynamic
This transition was led internally by one of the most committed collaborators, who conducted extensive research and implemented a short pedagogical training to support colleagues in getting started with electric vehicles.
Seamless adoption
Particular attention has been paid to the user experience: recharges are almost exclusively done at the workplace, thanks to early organization and clear instructions as soon as the vehicles are delivered.
The main challenge: charging
One of the major obstacles encountered by Médisup lies in the installation of charging stations. While some centers could be equipped easily, others, especially in the city center, remain limited by infrastructure constraints.
The strategy chosen: only offer an electric vehicle if an on-site charging solution was possible, in order to guarantee a smooth and unconstrained use for users.
Centralized supervision with Chargemap Business
To manage charging installations and monitor consumption, Médisup has chosen the platform Chargemap Business, which allows centralized and multi-site management of all installed terminals.
“We wanted simple, centralized, and accessible supervision for our users and for accounting. With Chargemap, everything is smooth and works perfectly.” Guillaume Yettou - Center Director
Chargemap Business was also chosen for its extensive compatibility with charging networks, its independence and the simplicity of its interface.
Initial results and ambitions
The first measured benefits
Since January 2025, the four electric vehicles have made it possible to save:
- more than 5 tons of CO₂
- nearly 600 liters of fuel
Almost all refills are carried out on site, without particular difficulty, which testifies to a controlled and well-prepared deployment.
The next step: doubling the electric fleet
In the short term, Médisup aims to Doubling the number of electric vehicles. A formalized feedback is in preparation, to demonstrate the financial and ecological advantages of the approach to management.
Mobility designed to last
With a concrete, structured approach supported by committed users, Médisup builds step by step a sustainable mobility strategy, with Chargemap Business as a partner.
